Goodman Group (Goodman or Group), the global integrated property group which owns, develops and manages industrial space, is pleased to announce that it has signed a lease with Leyou (China) Chain Store Co., Ltd (Leyou) comprising 23,057 sqm at Goodman Landport Logistics Estate, Landport Logistics Park, Beichen District in Tianjin, China.
Located in the north east of Beichen District and mid-way between Beijing and Tianjin, Goodman Landport Logistics Estate
will be developed in three phases to provide approximately164,000 sqm of logistics space in its eight single-storey warehouses. Phase I and Phase II will offer prime logistics spaces of 59,043 sqm and 45,888 sqm respectively. Leyou, a leading multichannel retailer, has signed a lease for 11,527 sqm in Phase I and pre-committed to a further 11,530 sqm in Phase II of Goodman Landport Logistics Estate
This latest leasing success follows the recent announcement that leading domestic logistics distribution and express delivery services provider, SF Express, has leased a combined 18,000 sqm of space in Phase 1 of Goodman Landport Logistics Estate
, with both transactions significantly boosting the total occupany rates of Phase I and Phase II.
Founded in 1999 with its headquarter in Beijing, Leyou is a leading multichannel retailer of toddler, baby and maternity products in China. Leyou operates 400 stores in 13 cities across the nation (as at end 2013), together with a catalogue business and an online store serving parents throughout China. It has experienced rapid expansion in recent years, opening retail stores in both Eastern and Western China. To date, the retailer has established 60 retail stores in Tianjin and 50 retail stores in Shanghai, two of its fastest-growing domestic markets.
